IMPACT Texas is very important to the community we serve as we are driven by our mission to empower the lives of youth, families, and individuals by uplifting communities to make positive changes through social services.

The mission of our solicitation campaign is to recruit community sponsors to assist IMPACT Texas with purchasing backpacks, school supplies, offering services for our Backpack to School Bash and most of all to have a lasting IMPACT on those we serve. Our target goal is to generate contributions of $5000.00 and our planned goal is to generate contributions of $10,000.00.  We are asking donors to make a tax-deductible donation to IMPACT Texas for $100.00 or any amount you choose to contribute or we encourage you to participate in our Sponsorship Opportunities Program  by supporting us with a monetary donation starting at $300.00 to $20,000.00

Your donations will assist us with hosting our Annual Backpack to School Bash; Houston, Temple, and Pflugerville. This is an educational and charitable event with the purpose to prepare students starting the new school year with needed school supplies and to remove barriers to academic success.  Having basic supplies has a positive IMPACT on a student’s self-esteem and creativity.  This is an exciting and fun way for students to connect with friends and community members prior to the new school year. 

Annually IMPACT Texas announces a Backpack to School Bash online registration through PeachJar, and on Facebook at facebook.com/impacttexas2015. We give away backpacks filled with school supplies in Travis, Williamson, Harris, Bell and Coryell Counties to underserved students attending title 1 schools, residing in affordable housing communities, recipients of food pantries, Girl Scouts, children: in foster care, of military families and of incarcerated parents to enjoy a Bash full of fun activities. 

Houston, Temple, and our Pflugerville Bash are available to registered participants where we provide backpacks filled with school supplies.  Additionally, during the Pflugerville Bash we provide; dental goody bags, first aid kits, toiletry packs, healthy snacks, school bus safety tips, child ID fingerprinting kits, parent resource packets, sponsorship exhibits and more.

We have awesome "Sponsors," many of them participate in our Sponsorship Opportunities Program and volunteer at our Pflugerville Bash.  We are delighted to have the support of the City of Pflugerville Police and Fire Department who participates annually at our Bash.  The Police Department displayed a sponsorship exhibit on safety and provide resources.  The Fire Department provided tours on the “Fire Engine” to students and their families.

We are excited to announce our new program REACH; Recognizing Everyone Appreciates Compassion and Hope.  2018 IMPACT Texas will host their First Annual REACH program where we distribute care packages that include hats, socks, toiletry items, water and non-perishable food items to underserved individuals.   The purpose of our REACH program is to help provide warmth to these individuals during the Texas winter months.

We will only meet our goals and deliver high-quality program services in a cost-efficient manner with the assistance of community members like you.  This is an opportunity for you to support a nonprofit who is “Determined to Make an IMPACT”.
